The Refresh is our most versatile package. It works brilliantly for cars that have been lightly neglected, family vehicles that need regular resets, or anyone wanting that “just drove off the forecourt” feeling without the premium price of polishing services.

What’s Included

Interior Refresh

Thorough Vacuum Treatment Every surface gets vacuumed: seats (including crevices), floor carpets, mats, boot space, door pockets, and those awkward gaps around the centre console. We use crevice tools to reach spots your home hoover can’t—because that’s where the crumbs and debris always end up.

Steam Clean & Upholstery Extraction Fabric seats and carpets receive hot water extraction that penetrates the fibres and lifts out embedded dirt. This process removes approximately 80-85% of stains and ground-in grime that surface cleaning misses. The heat also eliminates bacteria and dust mites, creating a fresher cabin environment.

Leather Cleaning & Conditioning For leather interiors, we use pH-balanced cleaners that remove oils and grime without damaging the material. We then apply conditioner to keep the leather supple and prevent the cracking that happens when leather dries out. Properly maintained leather looks better and lasts years longer.

Dashboard & Trim Wipe Down All interior plastics and trims get cleaned—dashboard, door cards, centre console, steering wheel, and gear knob. We use appropriate products for each surface type, leaving a clean natural finish rather than an artificial shiny look.

Interior Glass Cleaned Inside windscreen and windows cleaned streak-free. You’ll notice improved visibility immediately—especially important for safe driving during Teesside’s grey winter days and frequent rain.

Exterior Refresh

Full Wheel & Tyre Clean Wheels, barrels, and tyres scrubbed with dedicated wheel cleaners that dissolve brake dust and road grime without damaging your alloys. Tyres dressed for that deep black finish. Properly cleaned wheels make a bigger visual difference than most people expect.

Snow Foam Pre-Wash Before any contact with your paintwork, we apply thick snow foam that clings to the surface and loosens road grime, salt deposits, and contaminants. This pre-wash removes around 60-70% of surface dirt without touching the paint—reducing scratch risk during the main wash.

Safe Hand Wash (2-Bucket Method) We wash using the professional 2-bucket technique: one bucket for clean shampoo, one for rinsing the wash mitt. This prevents dirt from being dragged back across your paint, minimising the swirl marks that lesser car washes inflict. Fresh mitts, pH-neutral shampoo, and proper technique throughout.

Door Shuts & Details Cleaned Door jambs, fuel cap surrounds, hinges, and trim details all get attention. These areas accumulate grime that’s visible every time you open a door—but they’re often ignored by basic car washes.

Microfibre Drying Ultra-soft microfibre towels absorb water without risking scratches. No chamois leathers or water blades—just safe drying that protects your finish.

3-Month Hydrophobic Sealant We finish with a spray sealant that creates a protective barrier on your paintwork. Water beads up and rolls off, taking dirt with it. You’ll notice your car stays cleaner longer between washes—typically 2-3 weeks longer than without protection. This sealant is particularly valuable in Teesside where coastal salt and industrial fallout take their toll on unprotected paintwork.

How Long Does It Take?

A Refresh typically takes 2 to 3 hours depending on vehicle size and condition. Standard hatchbacks and saloons in moderate condition take around 2 hours. Larger vehicles like SUVs and estates, or cars that are particularly dirty, will be closer to 3 hours.

We’ll give you an accurate estimate when booking. All work is done at your home or workplace—you don’t need to be present throughout.

Refresh vs Deep Clean: What’s the Difference?

The Refresh and Deep Clean both cover interior and exterior, but they differ in intensity and time:

Refresh (2-3 hours, from £99): Comprehensive cleaning that covers all the essentials. Ideal for cars in moderate condition that need a proper reset.

Deep Clean (4-5 hours, from £130): More intensive treatment with extra attention to detail, thorough decontamination, and deeper cleaning of problem areas. Best for cars that haven’t been properly cleaned in 6+ months or need serious attention.

If your car is in reasonable shape but due a good clean, the Refresh delivers excellent results. If it’s been neglected or has specific problems (heavy staining, embedded grime, pet hair throughout), the Deep Clean is worth the step up.

Refresh vs Separate Interior + Exterior Valets

You could book our Interior Valet (from £55) and Exterior Valet (from £35) separately, but the Refresh offers better value for the combined service. Booking the Refresh also means we complete everything in one efficient session rather than two separate visits.

Products We Use

We use professional-grade detailing products: Gyeon, Cartec, Bilt Hamber, and Performance PPL. These are formulated for professional use with higher concentrations and better formulations than consumer products. The difference shows in the results and how long they last.
